The Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles (AAGLA), is providing a free, one-hour seminar that provides current state and local housing laws on Thursday, March 5 at noon. AAGLA is the leading advocate and resource for rental housing providers in Southern California. AAGLA Executive Director Daniel Yukelson will host the seminar at the Camarillo Public Library, 4101 Las Posas Road, Camarillo, CA 93010. Last year, Gov. Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1482, which capped rent increases statewide and regulated just-cause evictions throughout California. Landlords and tenants that attend this seminar will learn about Assembly Bill 1482 and rules for applicants with Section 8 or veteran-housing vouchers. For more information, please contact Diana Alcaraz at (213) 384-4131 ext. 301 or [email protected].
