Prop 16 Victory Recap and Critical Race Theory Seminar- Gathering of Leaders
3/20 – 3 pm @ Lake Forest!
Over a hundred people gathered this Saturday in Orange County to address the recent targeted attacks on Asians which has made national news. This press conference of Asian community leaders in Southern California, with counterparts from New York, Washington DC and Northern California, featured many on the team that defeated Proposition 16 in November, which was a direct racist institutional attack that would have affected the livelihood of Asian Americans. Many more attended on Zoom.Â
4/2 – Asian-American Advocacy Groups Call on Biden Administration to Address Violence and Discrimination with Concrete Action
A national coalition of Asian-American advocacy groups today called on the Biden administration to take concrete action to combat anti- Asian racism and violence. The leaders of the coalition will hold a virtual press conference on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. PDT/2:00 p.m. EDT, to discuss their recommendations.
