AIB2B’s event was a collaboration with various college groups, including the Orange Coast College Republicans, Turning Point USA and Young Americans for Freedom to present a legal immigrant voice and promote the values of hard work, personal responsibility and community mindedness. The event featured a panel of students in addition to a veteran speaker, AIB2B member Jeannie Luong, also a veteran of academics as a Trustee of Irvine Valley College. She will speak on a fascinating story of her immigration to this country to escape Communism in Vietnam, separated from her four children in the year 1975, during the fall of Saigon.
