To all of you who have enjoyed reading my commentaries, my column “Heard it on the Grapevine” and stories I’ve covered events in Ventura County, I invite you to help me finish my novel “Vashti’s Daughter”.
Here is the synopsis: Anna Steine is a 29 year old divorced head of a Steine and Steine, a small publishing house in Los Angeles. Nathaniel (Nate) Braverman is the direct descendant of Queen Esther and author of the mysterious novel “Vashti’s Daughter.”
After attending a Purim party, Anna starts having dreams that she’s living another life in the past. She discovers she is, in fact the reincarnation of Vashti’s daughter, Adara who has been cursed by Esther’s son Darius because she refused to marry him.
In the present, Anna and Nate have to figure out a way to break the curse before Anna’s 30th birthday, or neither she nor her future generations will ever find true love.

My goal is to finish the book by Purim, February 25, 2021. I’ll be writing a chapter a day, and posting five at time to this blog. The first five chapters can be read on the Vashti’s Daughter tab at the top of the page.
