Camarillo, Calif.— The Sept. 7 Artist Talk series at Studio Channel Islands Art Center (SCIART) will feature a thought-provoking presentation by Richard Barnett, a Marine who served overseas and returned as an artist with a unique perspective. The Artist Talk series takes place from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in SCIART’s Blackboard Gallery at 2222 E. Ventura Blvd., Camarillo. Admission is free to SCIART members, $10 for nonmembers.
