Attempted Robbery at Pharmacy
On March 11, 2021, at about 8:40 p.m., the Simi Valley Police Department received a call reporting a robbery that just occurred at the Rite-Aid in the 1100 block of E Los Angeles Avenue.
The investigation revealed that a Black male adult and a Hispanic male adult pushed their way past an employee behind the counter of the pharmacy and began looking for merchandise. It appeared that the men did not find what they were looking for and left the store. They were last seen running west, toward First Street.
Simi Valley Police Officers conducted a search of the area. However, they were unable to locate the suspects.
Robbery with a Firearm
On March 10, 2021 at approximately 4:00 PM Simi Valley Police Officers responded to the 7-11 store at the 2500 block of Royal Ave. reference a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, the store clerk indicated that the suspect entered the business, brandished a firearm, and ordered the clerk to give him the money from the cash register. The clerk described the suspect as a male Hispanic adult, armed with a handgun, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black mask. The suspect fled the store on foot in a westbound direction with an unknown amount of U.S. currency.
Simi Valley Police Officers conducted an extensive search of the area and did not locate the suspect.
