Attached you will find our flyer to our upcoming workshop “Be Prepared for Wildfire” to help Ventura County residents better prepare their homes, neighborhoods and communities to withstand the threat of wildland fires. This interactive course is designed to educate homeowners and others on how to make their property as safe as possible in the event of a wildfire, including defensible space planning and structure risk assessment.
The course will be presented and facilitated by experienced wildland/urban interface fire specialists, streaming live through the internet for two evening sessions. Participants will then be invited to work with the instructors, in person, to conduct their own home ignition zone inspections. Attendance is first come first serve so please register asap through our website (www.cvcfiresafe.org or call us at 805-746-7365)
Virtual two-session workshop: Thursday, August 13 & 20, 6-8 pm
