Ventura City Fire, Harbor Patrol, lifeguards and AMR EMS units were dispatched to a report of an injured person on the jetty, stuck in the rocks. The incident location was on the jetty near lifeguard tower 2 adjacent to Ventura Harbor Village in the city of Ventura. Emergency personnel responded and arrived to find a 42-year-old male with a serious leg injury needing to be rescued from the jetty location. Firefighters and EMS responders provided EMS treatment and stabilization to the injured man’s leg. The patient was transported via that ground ambulance to Ventura County Medical Center for further care. The gentleman is expected to make a full and complete recovery.
