On 07/03/2022, at approximately 07:42 AM, deputies from the Fillmore Police Department responded to a robbery that occurred at La Unica Mini Market, located along the 500-block of Old Telegraph Road in the City of Fillmore.
Deputies contacted the employees at the market. Deputies learned that two unknown male suspects entered the market and pointed their firearms at the store employees while demanding money. Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Major Crimes Bureau responded to assist with the investigation. During the preliminary investigation, detectives learned that after the robbery, the suspects exited the store at approximately 07:35 A.M.

Has anyone asked authorities why on earth have they released a crisp clear photo of the robbers…only to black out the entire face? How can they ask for help finding them, when they are blocking the face? Clothing isn’t a way to identify a person.
I suppose we are to believe that the perp walked into the store with the mask completely covering his face including his eyes. I suspect that the cops know who he is and he is one of their CIs and they don’t want his identity revealed.
