Camarillo, California – The City of Camarillo invites the community to participate in a community workshop on May 20, 2019 to discuss the renovation of Dizdar Park.
Situated in Old Town Camarillo, between Saint Mary Magdalen School and South Glenn Drive, the Dizdar Park property is ripe for renovation. The City of Camarillo will host a community workshop for the expanded use of the Dizdar Park property, and invites the community to attend on Monday, May 20, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Camarillo Public Library Community Room.
The community will hear a discussion by City staff and consultants and be invited to participate in a small group exercise to share their ideas about the redevelopment of the Dizdar Park property. Following this workshop, the results of both the January 29 former courthouse property reuse workshop and the Dizdar Park workshop will be presented to the City Council. Thereafter, City staff will be conducting additional community outreach on both of these closely-related Old Town projects to ensure the best complementary program uses are planned for these sites.
