The Camarillo Police Department will be hosting National Night Out, America’s night-out against crime on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 5:00 pm at Constitution Park in Camarillo. Camarillo’s Concert-in-the-Park will start immediately after the National Night Out event.
This event will include McGruff the Crime Fighting dog, K-9, Police Volunteers, Police Explorers, and the Disaster Assistance Response Team. The Community Resource Unit will also be providing community information on Neighborhood Watch, vacation house checks, Coffee with a Cop, disaster preparedness, and keeping your house crime free. Bring the kids by for stickers and other goodies.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out is a chance to bring neighborhoods together with the men and women who protect them. Millions of neighbors take part in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide.
