To our amazing Casa Pacifica Family: We appreciate the outpouring of phone calls and emails from concerned community members, county partners, volunteers, and donors. Fortunately, we are grateful to report we have no confirmed cases of COVID-19 related to our clients or employee population at this time.Misty Berard, Casa Pacifica’s Director of Residential Services commented on the current situation, “During this unchartered crisis, as an agency we are doing our utmost to keep our youth and staff safe and cared for. In an effort to minimize risk we have limited community access and temporarily suspended volunteers on campus. This has created a unique challenge to keep our youth engaged and their spirits high. We need to be creative and innovative during this period to engage the youth in on-campus activities and recreation therapy. Our youth struggle with already difficult challenges so engagement and hope during this crisis is especially important for our community here at Casa Pacifica.”

Pearl is enrolled in a three week training program Monday – Thursdays where she is learning to be the most well mannered pup around! We can’t wait to celebrate with her when she graduates on April 2nd!
Educational Forum A Success!
A big thank you to everyone who participated in our recent inaugural educational event, Complex Trauma & the Family! It was wonderful opportunity to gather, make new contacts, share information and learn from such amazing speakers! We look forward to creating similar events in the future. Special thank you to our partners Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Vista del Mar Hospital, Engage, and Mission Harbor Behavioral Health.
The health and safety or our staff and colleagues is of the utmost importance to us, therefore Casa Pacifica’s Training Institute is suspending all training classes temporarily. We will reassess the training schedule as needed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
