For this upcoming Mother’s Day we’ve had to figure out on how to be exciting, creative, and safe with our Mother’s Day presentation for the Moms in our church as well as Moms in our community. As you well know these past two months have been challenging for our congregation as well as many others. So this year we’ve planned a stay in your car and cruise through outreach for our local moms. We are calling it “Love Her Lane” as in Lovers Lane.
We will be distributing over 200 flowers treats, cards, homemade beautiful floral face mask and even giving a window wash on the way out of the parking lot. And most importantly, CVW volunteers will abide by all COVID-19 guidelines. All volunteers and helpers will be wearing a face mask, gloves and will be 6 feet apart. This will be a no contact event to express the love that all moms so well deserve.
This event Will take place Saturday May 9th from 12 PM to 1 PM in the Elks Lodge parking lot in the city of Oxnard. I’m notifying you about this event because I feel it’s such an uplifting, positive and creative way to express God’s love for our Mother’s Day weekend.
