On Saturday March 23, 2019, a rally was held protesting freshman congresswoman Illhan Omar, it’s all about the “Benjamins Baby.” Omar, who has tweeted and spoken against the United States’ support of Israel, was one of two keynote speakers at a Council on American-Islamic Relations, CAIR, fundraisers held at the Hilton Hotel in Woodland Hills California. The congresswoman garnered a handful of supporters while over 1000 came to protest her appearance. The opposition to Omar waved both American and Israeli flags along with signs. Street artist Sabo unfurled banners from the Hotel’s balconies along with a display of faux confetti showering down.
On CAIR from Breitbart News: “In 2007-8, CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the terror financing trial of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development. That case, in turn, led the FBI to discontinue its work with the organization. In 2009, a federal judge ruled that the government “produced ample evidence to establish” the ties of CAIR with Hamas, the Palestinian terror organization. The United Arab Emirates labeled CAIR a terrorist organization in 2014 (a decision that the Obama administration opposed).”

There’s a saying something like: “Build it and they will come!” …unless the bridges you build are founded in lies and cemented in hate.
“Judging from the gathering of two dozen, maybe 30 people total, carrying signs supporting Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, the hate and bigotry bricks she uses are not attractive to most Americans! This tiny handful of mostly white supporters stared across the street at an enormous crowd, a thousand or more strong!
We gathered at the Woodland Hills HIlton on Saturday March 23 to shout our objections to the Jew-hating, caliphate would-be conquerors, murder-mongering jihadists inside the Hilton. The people sitting around the tables inside the hotel were there “Advancing Justice, Empowering Valley Muslims” at the fourth annual conference of the “Valley Muslims”. The affair was sponsored by CAIR, the hate-filled, murderous, US named terrorist organization: Council on American-Islamic Relations. (Michelle Malkin in the Daily Wire writes about Ilhan Omar and CAIR reminding all among us “never to forget” the dirty and profane evil deeds the organization funds and promotes throughout the world.)

The throng of people wearing red, white, and blue, sporting signs decrying the Ilhan Omars of the world and their handlers (CAIR) and supporters, and proudly displaying Israeli flags and wearing Nazi-era yellow “JUDE” stars as reminders of what happens when we the people slumber, stood should-to-shoulder with other people displaying Trump shirts, flags, hats, and pins. The crowd sang patriotic songs, chanted “Stand with America! USA! Trump! Terrorist go home” and so-on. The colorful collection on “the patriots” side of the street stood in stark contrast to the pathetically puny group of folks allayed on the Hilton side of the street. The most impactful impression was seeing that the wee gathering did not have a single American flag on display! Nothing remotely patriotic could be seen. Instead they mostly held pre-printed black and white signs “I Stand with Ilhan” next to her picture.
The strength of the Judaeo-Christian forever-bond forged at the birth of our nation and the festive fervor of patriots is captured in the pictures. People from places all over the world now living in our great nation were speaking English, Spanish, Hebrew, Farsi, French, German, Hungarian, Moroccan, Romanian, and Russian. I’m sure other languages were being spoken but these are just some of the people I talked to. The atmosphere was intense, but it was also purpose-filled and proud. Everyone smiled at each other. Some embraced and then we turned back to face the few across the street and to shout our objections and share our love for this great nation and for President Trump.
