Thousand Oaks, Calif. (June 28, 2021)—Conejo Valley Days (CVD) will be a carnival-only event this year. CVD will run July 8 through July 11 and July 14 through 18 at Conejo Creek Park South (Janss Rd. 23 Freeway). CVD was cancelled last year because of the pandemic. This year, it was moved from its normal May dates to July.
“Planning and coordinating CVD was difficult because there were so many unknowns,” says Frank Akrey, Conejo Valley Days president. “We were able to work with Kastl Amusements, our long-time carnival partner, to provide a carnival experience for parents, kids and teens. We don’t have our live entertainment, vendors or community food booths this year, but we hope CVD will bring members of the community together and provide a place to have fun and enjoy carnival rides, games and food.”
Kastl Amusements will bringing over16 rides and midway games to CVD along with traditional fair and specialty foods. “CVD is normally a four-day event over one weekend,” says Akrey. “This July, it will be over two weekends so there will be plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves.”
Unlimited ride wristbands will be available for $35 on July 8 only. Discounted ride tickets are available when purchased in 24 and 40 ticket quantities. Now through July 8 at 1 p.m., festival goers can purchase 10 rides for $25 by going to Conejo Valley Days (https://kastl-amusements.ticketleap.com/conejo-valley-days).
Admission is $5. Children five and under are free.
