“The County of Ventura is accepting applications for Board Member vacancies on its Assessment Appeals Boards (AAB). The AAB is a quasi-judicial body which hears property tax assessment appeals at a public hearings. The hearing process provides ‘equalization’, or fairness of the assessment of a property’s value of the property in question. Meetings of the Board are held in the City of Ventura and applications must be submitted by September 3, 2021.
