Want to get a crash course in Ventura County agriculture?
Come join CWA at the seventeenth annual Farm Day on May 17th and learn all about agriculture in Ventura County. The event is sponsored by the Ventura County Chapter of California Women for Agriculture and is sure to be a great time. This year’s event will be held at Monte Vista Independent Learning Academy in Simi Valley. 3rd Graders from throughout Simi Valley and their teachers, will get to spend the morning learning all about crops, insects, farm animals, equipment, and many agricultural related subjects. Attendees will rotate from station to station in ten-minute intervals as they learn about agriculture in the county. More than twenty exhibitors will share their expertise with the students on this fun filled and informative day.
