On February 12, 2020, at 9:00 am, the Camarillo Police Department would like to invite you to join us for a cup of coffee and conversation as we discuss the serious issues behind domestic violence and what we can do to prevent it from happening. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (https://www.ncadv.org/statistics): “Nearly 1.5 million high school students in the U.S. are physically abused by dating partners every year.”
This event will take place at Starbucks Coffee, 4511 Las Posas Rd. in Camarillo, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. The Camarillo Police Department, representatives from the Coalition for Family Harmony and the Ventura County Family Justice Center will be on hand to provide information on how you can help prevent domestic violence or help someone who may be affected by domestic violence.
