Economic Development Collaborative To Receive VCEDA’s “From Red Tape to Red Carpet Public/Private Partnership Award”

CAMARILLO, Calif. – The Economic Development Collaborative (EDC) has been selected by the VCEDA’s nominations committee to receive the VCEDA’s From Red Tape to Red Carpet Public/Private Partnership Award.

EDC has been nominated for this award because of its role in assisting organizations to grow in the County and beyond by providing expert knowledge and managerial tools necessary to both established businesses and start-ups, helping them to succeed in today’s complex and rapidly changing business environment.

“It is an honor to receive this award from one of our strongest partners. We know that the impact EDC makes as an organization is directly related to the strong relationships and history we have with organizations that are dedicated to the improvement of economic opportunity and prosperity for all within Ventura County.” said Stenslie.

VCEDA’s From Red Tape to Red Carpet Awards acknowledges the good work of local government agencies, public-private partnerships, and public servants in implementing innovative programs that cut through red tape, eliminate barriers to economic growth, promote business interests and open the door to private sector job creation.

EDC will be honored at VCEDA’s 2019 Business Outlook Conference on Thursday, October 31 from 8am – 12pm at the VCOE Conference Center.
