Election 2020 Countdown: 395 Days (Oct. 5) U.S. House impeach inquiry being led by “lying” Adam Schiff (CA-28, Dem)

    By Michael Hernandez

The Democrats are so obsessed with overruling the 2016 election that they are pushing an impeachment inquiry (without an official vote of the House of Representatives as done in the Richard Nixon, 1974 and Bill Clinton impeachment inquiries, 1998) led by a “lying” House Intelligence Committee Chair Adam Schiff (CA-28).

Will the American people trust an impeachment process led by a partisan 59-year-old, nine-term Democrat Congressman that has been caught lying twice in regards to the House impeachment inquiry of Donald Trump within the last two months?

The first series of lies came in a parody by Rep. Adam Schiff in which he falsely dramatized the conversation between President Trump and Ukranian President Volodymyr Zelensky. To view the entire opening nine-minute statement, go to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GN4CJ8MYLTY&t=68s

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, questioned Director of National Intelligence Director Joseph Maguire’s (a former Navy Seal) for his handling of a whistleblower complaint involving a phone call between Donald Trump and Ukraine’s president.

In his opening statement during the hearing (featuring Maguire), Schiff emphasized the need for whistleblower complaints to be presented to Congress to prevent leaking, which Schiff said would threaten U.S. national security.

Schiff later admitted that he included words in his opening statement that the president did not say, noting that his characterization was meant to be taken “at least, in part, in parody.”

Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that Schiff did not embellish any of the facts, saying, “It’s sad, but it’s using the president’s own words.”  ABC News George Stephanopoulos countered: “These weren’t the president’s words, it was an interpretation of the president’s words.  They’re saying he made this up.”

The second series of lies by Schiff was reported in the New York Times on Oct. 2.  This explosive article revealed that Schiff learned about the Central Intelligence Agency officer’s concerns before the whistle-blower’s complaint had been filed and after conveying his concerns to the CIA’s top lawyer.

These facts were conveniently forgotten by Schiff who denied any contact with the whistle-blower prior to the complaint being filed and released to the public.  This information would have required (Rule 14), Schiff to inform all his 21 fellow committee members (including Rep. Devin Nunes, R-CA) and the other eight Republican Congressmen) on the House Intelligence Committee.

Schiff lied to his own Intelligence Committee and fellow House members.

Schiff perpetuated this lie by stating:  “We’ve not spoken to the whistle-blower.  We would like to,” said Schiff on Sept. 17.  Schiff sat down with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, who asked if he was in contact with the whistleblower, or even if he simply knew their identity.

“I don’t know the identity of the whistleblower…I don’t want to get into any particulars.  I want to make sure that there’s nothing that I do that jeopardizes the whistleblower in any way,”  Schiff told CNN when asked if the whistleblower has contacted him.

The Washington Post awarded Adam Schiff four pinocchios for his false comments about the whistleblower. Schiff has played a leading role in investigating the Trump-Ukraine scandal but hasn’t been truthful in the process, according to Washington Post fact-checker Glenn Kessler.

“Schiff’s answers are especially interesting in the wake of reports in The New York Times and The Washington Post that the whistleblower approached a House Intelligence Committee staff member for guidance before filing a complaint with the Intelligence Community inspector general,” Kessler wrote.

My question to Schiff:  “Is it possible that you participated in writing the whistleblower’s complaint?”

The complaint was so well written in legal language that former President Barack Obama National Intelligence Director James Clapper told CNN’s “New Day” on Friday, Sept.  27 that it is “the best written, best researched complaint he has ever seen.”

My conclusion:  Adam Schiff is conducting a “sham, dishonest” impeachment inquiry—which he hopes to overturn an election.  Adam Schiff is a “liar.”
