Annual Pre-Thanksgiving Community Interfaith Service at Cal Lutheran

All are welcome to attend the annual pre-Thanksgiving Community Interfaith service, presented by the Conejo Valley Interfaith Association, on Sunday, November 24 at 7:00 pm (arrive by 6:45). Themed “Peace and Unity,” it will be held at Samuelson Chapel on the campus of California Lutheran University, located at 165 Chapel Lane in Thousand Oaks. The service will include poetry and spiritual readings by clergy from various local faiths, and an interfaith choir will provide music. Refreshments will follow. All donations will benefit Harbor House. Free parking is available at the location, as well as in the CLU parking lot across Olsen Rd., accessible by a footbridge.

Please note that this is the first time in the event’s 40+ year history that the service is being held on a Sunday, rather than the Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving, to make it more accessible to those who leave town for the holiday.
