The Boogie Nights Summer Run Series is back for a 10 week run in 2022 on Wednesday nights from May 18th through July 20th, starting at 6pm. 5K start/finish is at San Buenaventura State Beach, 901 San Pedro St, Ventura.

Chip timing, light snacks after the run, a t-shirt for those that register for the series and flat course along the Ventura Promenade. Cost is $20 per race or $160 for the entire 10 week series, including t-shirt.

This year’s weekly costume themes:

• May 18th – Crazy Sock Night
• May 25th – Mustache Night! Draw them on, wear fake ones, sport real ones! All genders included!
• June 1st – Favorite Race Night – Wear your favorite race shirt from any race
• June 8th – Heroes vs Villains Night – Grab your cape, mask and tights lets see your inner villain or super hero
• June 15th – Pajama Night
• June 22nd – School Night – Wear your school’s colors, shirt, mascot and more
• June 29th – Toga Night – grab that bed sheet and get wrapping
• July 6th – Neon Night – Let’s see some glowing outfits
• July 13th – Rock Star Night – 70’s, 80’s, 90’s pick your favorite decade and rock star
• July 20th – Aloha Night – nothing says summer like a grass skirt, coconut bra and hula shirt
