 The Conejo Democrats will welcome Ferial Masry for a screening and discussion of her award-winning documentary Ode to My Mother, produced by Masry and chronicling the life of her mother Tahra Abdul Hafiz Al-Siba, an acclaimed Saudi Arabian artist and poet.

Born in Mecca, Ferial Masry is the first Saudi American to run for political office for California State Assembly from Thousand Oaks and author of the book, “Running for All the Right Reasons”.
