    Creative Flow + Sound Bath (Ages 16+)

    Date/Time: Sunday, November 12th, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

    Teaching Artists: Robin Briceño and Karina Arcia

    Cost: $40.00 per person per session

    Clear your mind and let the creativity flow! Join teaching artist Robin Briceno inside the Santa Paula Art Museum’s Cole Creativity Center to find your creative flow through unique exercises fused with movement, music and art! Each class will begin with a yoga-inspired activity to relax the body and mind, and end with a meditative art project.

    You’ll also experience a luxurious sound bath led by musician Karina Arcia. Using Tibetan Bowls and various instruments, Karina will play sacred sounds to help you relax, meditate, and connect with yourself on a deeper level.

    Creative Flow + Sound Bath is appropriate for everyone ages 16 and over. The cost of each class is $40.00 per person. No experience is necessary. Students are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat and dress comfortably. All art supplies will be provided. Advance registration is required.

    About Our Teaching Artist: With a background in dance, opera and musical theater, Robin Briceño has successfully blended her personal passions into her 30-year career working as a Registered Music Therapist and more recently as a Registered Yoga Instructor in treatment and educational settings; facilitating and coordinating programs to inspire and help others heal and achieve their wellness goals through exploration of the Expressive Arts and Yoga. In addition to holding certifications in Hatha and AIReal Yoga™, she is also certified in Accessible Yoga, bringing the benefits of yoga and meditation to Every Body through the use of props and modifications of traditional yoga poses. She holds a certification in Trauma-Sensitive Yoga and Meditation by the Warriors at Ease organization specializing in serving members of Military communities and First Responders. Robin operates her own business, Harmony Yoga & Wellness, offering singing lessons for wellness in addition to her yoga classes.
