Community Enrichment Classes
Creative Art Journaling
Creative art journaling is a form of visual diary keeping. In journals, we combine color, texture, and form to create snapshots of what’s happening around and inside us. We record thoughts, emotions, and feelings. We get our fingers dirty. Creativity is not a luxury. It is a direct path to reconnecting with and taking care of ourselves. In this class you will learn about the basic supplies needed to create your own art journal, along with a few rules (meant to be broken) about color, composition, and layering. You will also learn how to deal with perfectionism and find joy in the creative process. Check website for supply list.
