Pastels
Learn to paint with the expressive medium of soft (chalk) pastels, favored by Impressionist artists. Explore creative mark-making techniques and materials using pastels and charcoal. Instruction will be provided for beginners; more advanced students will benefit from demos and critiques. The supply list as follows:
Set of Nupastels (at least 24)
10 sheets Uart sanded pastel paper, 9×12, light, 400 grit (order online)
Strathmore toned sketch book
1 black and 1 white charcoal pencil
1 inch white artist’s tape or tan masking tape
**ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR FACE COVERINGS AND FOLLOW SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOL AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON SCHOOL CAMPUS **
