Join us at the quarterly business meeting on Wednesday October 25 to catch up on LPVC activities and to hear from a proponent for “Repeal Top Two.” The word is that Top Two is losing favor in state legislative circles and it just might be weak enough to topple soon. Our speaker, Jeanne Llewellyn, has been confirmed. Meet at the Junkyard Cafe in Simi Valley at 2585 Cochran Street, just west of Sycamore Drive; the restaurant is hiding in the back parking lot. A social time will begin at 6:30 pm and the meeting will be called at 7:00 pm. We expect to have the speaker start at 7:30 pm. Find us in the Tiki Room! A free drink goes to anyone who has recently had a letter to the editor published. And there is always a raffle.

Also, this is a big shout-out to all our Simi Valley members, contacts and friends. Simi Valley has always had a large number of Libertarian supporters. Come on out and let’s meet, especially if you are considering or even slightly entertaining the idea of running for one of the many Ventura County positions open for election next year. We do need candidates and you could be one of them.
