Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library (FTOL) is celebrating its 60th year as a non-profit in the Conejo Valley. It has been their mission to provide financial support to the library to ensure access to quality programs that remain free to the community. FTOL supports this effort through sales at their bookshops located at both library branches.

The public is invited to join FTOL on September 19th at 4:30pm for the Grand Reopening of the bookshop. It has been reorganized and stocked, making shopping easier to find exactly what is on your list, at bottom-line prices. Available will be discounted priced books, puzzles, games, CDs, and DVDs.

The ribbon cutting will be officiated by the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. Tours will be provided to view the vast selection of titles: children’s books, New York Times bestsellers, cookbooks, fiction and nonfiction. Trained volunteers will be available to answer any of your questions.

The celebration will continue through Friday, September 23rd. Also, please mark your calendars for another celebration, the Thousand Oaks Library Ruby Red 40th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, September 24th.
