Proceeds support art programs at Vita Art Center and Art Division
Saturday, May 6 from 1-4pm
Free and open to the public
Join us for an exciting live paint event and fundraiser, where celebrated artists’ John Nava and Dan McCleary will paint directly onto prints of their work. Witness the transformation of these prints into unique, one-of-a-kind pieces of art, as the artists work their magic right before your eyes. This event is not only a feast for the senses, but it’s also for a great cause. All proceeds from the sale of the art will go towards funding art education programs for youth and young adults. By attending and purchasing a piece of art, you’ll be supporting the growth and development of future artists and fostering a love for the arts in our communities. Come out and be a part of this meaningful and fun-filled event!
VITA ART CENTER Vita Art Center’s high-quality enrichment experiences in the visual arts are taught by local professional artist/instructors each teaching in their area of expertise, sharing their knowledge and passion. Our programs give students a solid foundation in the visual arts. We offer local youth a safe and nurturing environment during their least structured and, therefore, highest-risk times: after school, on weekends, and during the summer months. Consistent, quality art education and mentoring positively impacts youths’ social development, academic achievement, and vocational opportunities. Vita Art Center is a 501(c) (3) charitable organization.
ART DIVISION: is a non-profit (501)(c)3 organization dedicated to training and supporting under-served young adults who are committed to studying the visual arts. Art Division distinguishes itself by providing in-depth services to young adults aged 18-27. We believe that focused instruction, individualized tutoring and personal support give students the tools they need to pursue higher education, achieve self-sufficiency and obtain careers in the arts and related fields. Art Division is also dedicated to community engagement and to building a thriving arts community in the Rampart District.
