Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County is providing a unique way for ladies to give back after the excitement of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On December 2, they will be hosting 50 women at their new build site of 6 homes for low-income families in La Colonia, Oxnard.
Winter Women Build Day draws ladies from all over Ventura County to take action by building strength, stability and self-reliance through shelter. It’s a day to celebrate and empower women while pounding nails and hanging drywall alongside Habitat future homeowners, changing our community one home at a time.
Lunch, t-shirts and an unforgettable day of gratitude in action will be provided for all the women that have registered at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/winter-women-build-2017-tickets-39409194963?aff=eac2.
