Director Jeffrey Gee Chin, Executive Producer Fumiko Carole Fujita, and an actor in the film will screen the historic struggles of Japanese American newspaper publisher Sei Fujii as he protects the Little Tokyo community in Los Angeles in the 1930’s from crime and discriminatory laws. The panel will answer questions about the film and read excerpts from a forthcoming biography about Mr. Fujii. The DVD will be available for purchase from the Friends of the Library Gift Shop.
