Harmony is the 2nd annual edition of Carnatic and Cross-Culture Concerts (4C) – bringing online students of music along side brick and mortar schools and studios.
In a school agnostic manner, the screen to stage initiative was launched to provide a recital and concert platform for online students of music and provide a sense of community and peer support system.
This year we will feature over 60 performers in solo and group recitals featuring Carnatic, Hindustani, Western classical, Acapella and some presentations in cross-cultural music.
Join us all day for this showcase and be a part of special presentations by “Ahh Capella Agoura Hills Harmony Chorus”, Bradley Gregory and Tachell Gerbert Piano Duo, Rishi Kaushik, Kierstin Allison and Linda Cao with Opera meets Carnatic Scatting and Carnatic concerts by Dr Uthra Rajamani and Rishabh Kaushik.
In keeping with the mission of SciArtsRUs, the evening will highlight our SciArtic Seminar: “Confluence of Science, Art and Culture: The Science of Music” presented by Vid. Aravind Soundararajan with Vid. Pappu Gyandev on violin and Vid. Sriprasanna Sharma on Mridangam followed by a group performance by Swaralaya School of Music.
