Travis Allen was first elected to the California State Assembly in 2012 representing the 72nd Assembly District, which includes the cities of Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, and other Orange County coastal communities. As a State Assemblyman, Allen’s main concerns have been lowering taxes, improving community safety, roads and schools, and making California affordable for working families.
He has given time and money to many charitable and community causes including the Orange County Rescue Mission. He is active in the Christian and Jewish communities, and is a strong supporter of several pro-Israel charities.
Allen, who has lived and surfed for over 20 years in Huntington Beach, has attracted attention with his surfing-themed gubernatorial campaign.
