Monday, October 19, 2020 – DANA POINT – Almost one hundred Christian Pastors from Southern California will gather at a forum to discuss the contentious Senate Judiciary Committee to consider the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to be the next Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court.
One of the most significant discussion points of the conference will be how the Senate Democrats have demonized Judge Barrett’s religious faith. The “Pastors Only” conference will be held at Brio Tuscany Grille located at 24050 Camino Del Avion, #B in Dana Point, on Tuesday October 20th starting at noon and ending at 2 PM. The event is presented by Asian Industry B2B and co-hosted by Words of Comfort Hope and Promise with American Renewal Project.
Founder and CEO of Asian Industry B2B Marc Ang says, “As an Asian-American who grew up Catholic and now a Christian, I am extremely outraged at the vile comments made by Senator Mazie Hirono about how she negatively and wrongfully portrays Judge Barrett’s faith and values. The faith community appreciates Christian values as a trait that a Supreme Justice should have; as it is a basis of a fair decision making process for the legal interpretation of US Constitutional Law.”
Over the weekend, the Asian Industry B2B hosted a local faith event in Walnut that strongly promoted social distancing and garnered local coverage from NBC, ABC, Fox and Telemundo among many other media. The Los Angeles County Public Health Department threatened to shut down the event, levy fines and implied the arrest of Marc Ang. Marc Ang says, “LA County is unfairly treating the faith community while giving special treatment to leftist liberal groups as evidenced by their preferential treatment of the lack of social distancing events by the Women’s March in Los Angeles. The inequality by LA County against Christians will also be a key topic of discussion of the All Pastors Meeting.”
The US Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to have the consideration vote on Thursday October 22nd. The full Senate confirmation vote is anticipated to be before the November 3rd election.
