SAVE THE DATE: Ventura Music Festival Presents BERNSTEIN
WHAT:
The Ventura Music Festival is pleased to be presenting a performance of a selection of some of Leonard Bernstein’s most noteworthy pieces, in celebration of what would have been the late composer/conductor/pianist/humanitarian’s 100th birthday. The program will be followed by light refreshments. The ticket sales from this event will benefit the VMF Young Artists Fund, which includes Music in the Schools, Student Jazz, Rising Stars, an annual children’s concert for VUSD, master classes and other programs.
WHO:
The medley of Bernstein songs will be performed by soprano Patricia Lathrop-McPherson, baritone Steve Perren and accompanist Helen Farson. Tickets are $25 and are onsale now.
