Veterans Day Ceremony at Conejo Creek Park North in Thousand Oaks
The Conejo Valley Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars and The Conejo-Simi Valley Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America will present the annual Veterans Day Ceremony @ the Thousand Oaks Veteran’s Memorial at Conejo Creek Park North, Monday November 11th, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
The annual ceremony to honor our Veterans will be held @ the Creekside Pavilion adjacent to the Thousand Oaks Veterans Memorial. Located just behind the Thousand Oaks Library on Janss Road, adjacent to the CA23 Freeway. The park is a beautifully landscaped setting for this important annual event. Free to the public, we encourage everyone to attend and remember those who have helped to make this a free nation.
The ceremonies will feature the Royal High School AFJROTC Cadet Color Guard, brief comments by Ventura County Sheriff James Fryhoff, live music from The Seniors of Note Band, and punctuated with bugler and bagpipe solos.
Bring the family, friends and kids to the park and join us in saluting our veterans. Presented by the Conejo Valley Chapter of the Military Order of the World Wars, and the Conejo-Simi Valley Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America, both Non-Partisan and Non-Profit Veterans Organizations promoting patriotism and supporting youth programs nationwide.
