Who Has the Best Lima Bean Story? Find Out at May 8 Gallery Talk at Agriculture Museum
Ventura County was known for decades as the Lima Bean Capital of the World. Many families made their livings growing and threshing the starchy legumes, back in the days when kids drove tractors, rode inside trucks under cascades of newly-threshed beans, and worked in the fields. On May 8 at 2:00 p.m., the Museum of Ventura County’s Agriculture Museum is hosting a Gallery Talk about lima beans. |
