Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On March 24th at 1:25 AM, the Ventura Police Command Center received a call of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision in the intersection of Victoria Ave and Telephone Rd.
VPD officers arrived and located the victim, who was severely injured. VPD officers began life saving efforts and were relieved by Ventura Fire and AMR. The victim was transported to VCMC where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. Neither drugs nor alcohol are suspected as a factor for the driver.
This investigation is ongoing and any witnesses are urged to contact the Ventura Police Watch Commander.
