Propaganda is certainly not new to the 20th and 21st centuries, but has been practiced in one form or another forever. The ability to use propaganda and to influence accordingly has certainly augmented with the advances in mass communication. The radio, television, computers, and now smartphones, have increased using propaganda as a means to an end.
Propaganda is the spreading of information in support of a cause. It is not so important whether the information is true or false or if the cause is just or not so long as the information spread brings about the desired end. Generally, there are seven techniques used by propagandists.
Glittering Generalities: Nice words to represent the ideology, like goodness or patriotism.
Name Calling: Trash-talking anyone not in lockstep with the ideology for sale.
Testimonial: A famous person endorses the ideology.
Plain Folks: Appeals to “the folks” that invoke our values.
Bandwagon: An appeal to be part of the group.
Transfer: An appeal that helps us see ourselves as part of the bright, shining progressive ideology on a hill.
Card-stacking: Manipulating information to make the ideology appear better than it is, often by unfair comparison or omitting facts.
Joseph Goebbels understood propaganda and how it could be used to influence an entire nation to hate, to divide, and to agree to be dominated by a harmful ideology like collectivism (Marxism, communism, socialism, progressive, Democrats, all virtually the same). Yes, the Nazi party was a believer in collectivism as are the communists, socialists, and the Democrats.
“To be a socialist is to submit the I to the thou; socialism is sacrificing the individual to the whole.” Joseph Goebbels
The collectivist also understands that to gain control of any people, that control must begin in the streets of the community. Alinsky was the king of community organizing and Alinsky’s son said Obama was the best community organizing student they ever had. Community organizing is a euphemism for creating chaos and starting riots.
“Whoever can conquer the street will one day conquer the state, for every form of power politics and any dictatorship-run state has its roots in the street.” Joseph Goebbels
Propaganda has as its basis, the telling of lies to create division, hate, and chaos so the population is easier to manipulate, and the desired dictatorship can be put into place.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” Joseph Goebbels
“It would not be impossible to prove with sufficient repetition and a psychological understanding of the people concerned that a square is in fact a circle. They are mere words, and words can be molded until they clothe ideas and disguise.” Joseph Goebbels
The Democrats, Communist Party of the United States, have learned from Goebbels and Alinsky and is still being taught by Obama. The American people are being told some big lies today. There purpose of promoting hate, division, and creating chaos is working. The purpose of these lies is to convince Americans that the only way to solve the problem is to at the least minimize and at best to eliminate any who disagree with the collectivist ideology and the domination of the state over the lives and thoughts of the people, communism.
The lies we are being told on a continuous basis is that the United States has always been, and is an inherently a racist nation. This is what the 1619 project and critical race theory are designed to do. We are being told that our police are racists, and they have as their goal to kill as many black people as they can. We are being told that such a thing as white supremacy exists, and it is the biggest threat to our national security. We are being told that people who disagree with the social, economic, and religious dictates of the left are extremists and their ability to participate in our political and governmental system must be eliminated. Interestingly Putin in Russia, just signed a law that prevents members of “extremist” or “terrorist” organizations from standing in elections for three to five years, with the length of time depending on the person’s position.
“That propaganda is good which leads to success, and that is bad which fails to achieve the desired result. It is not propaganda’s task to be intelligent, its task is to lead to success.” Joseph Goebbels
“The essence of propaganda consists in winning people over to an idea so sincerely, so vitally, that in the end they succumb to it utterly and can never escape from it.” Joseph Goebbels
That the Democrats, the left, the Communists of the United States are using propaganda to manipulate the American public is beyond dispute. The question is, will the American public succumb to this devious and evil manipulation, or will the American public once again learn that freedom is dependent on individual liberty and individual liberty is maintained through an open and honest discourse with an independent, fair, and immensely inquisitive press. Reject propaganda and embrace truth and transparency.

Don has spoken to numerous groups across the nation on the topic of who and what is the United States and who and what is collectivism. The collectivist movement has called for a transformation of the United States. What is critical for all to understand is what is the transformation; what are we now and into what will we be transformed.
Don’s speaking approach is the same as his writing approach, and that is to be direct and straight forward with no regard for the current mandated approach of political correctness.
Samuel Adams said, “It does not take a majority to prevail… but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.” If we are to remain free, we must be about setting brushfires of freedom.
