Join Ventura County Leadership Academy’s Journey to Leadership Awards in recognizing five community leaders
Camarillo, CA — Ventura County Leadership Academy (VCLA) invites the community to join them for their annual, “Journey to Leadership” virtual awards celebration on Thursday, April 29, 2021. The event kicks off at 1:30 p.m. with a VIP/Sponsors Social and is immediately followed by the awards ceremony at 2:00 p.m. There is still time to join in this free celebration recognizing five impactful leaders in our community. The five outstanding community leaders being honored by VCLA are:
• Alumnus of the Year – James Joyce III, (Cohort XVII) Coffee with a Black Guy
• Business of the Year – Pods Moving and Storage
• Educational Leader of the Year – Dianne McKay, Ventura County Community College District Board Member, Area 2, and President, Mustang Marketing
• Non-profit Leader of the Year – Monica White, President & CEO, Food Share of Ventura County, County of Ventura
• Public Sector of the Year – County of Ventura COVID Response Team
