Note from a Tutor…
“I worked for about two years in Camarillo with “Sara” who has returned to Italy for a while. She and I have the same workbook, and we try to work weekly via “WhatsApp.” When it’s 8 a.m. here, it’s about 5 p.m. in Milan. We don’t always connect weekly due to family visits and vacations but we try. It’s great to hear her voice. She’ll be returning to this area frequently, and we’ll be resuming our face-to-face meetings. We also communicate by leaving messages on the app’s recording application.”TUTORS: If you are unable to attend our monthly “Tutor Talk” hosted by Louise Vien, but need to give back or get new supplies from our storage closet, just email Marianne at [email protected] who will contact your area coordinator to set up a date and time for someone with a key to meet you at the storage closet located at 1500 La Palma Drive, Ventura.TUTOR TIP: Tutors, please email us your tips and suggestions for working with students. We love to learn from one another.
