Francisco Mejia (DOB 10/18/56), of Oxnard, was sentenced to 30 years in prison by Judge Michelle Castillo.
On April 1, 2020, Mejia pled guilty to multiple acts of child molestation including lewd act on a child, forcible oral copulation on a child, sexual penetration on a child, and forcible lewd act on a child.
Mejia molested two family members over the course of several years. The third victim, a family friend, was molested by Mejia while she attended his wife’s daycare in 2017. The case was investigated by the Oxnard Police Department.
