VENTURA, SANTA PAULA– The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announced planned closures on State Route 126 (SR-126) in the cities of Ventura and Santa Paula for a paving project.
From Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19, the following planned closures of SR-126 are scheduled between 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
Eastbound:
- One lane from US 101 to Hallock Dr.
- Tenth Street on and off-ramp
Westbound
- One lane from Hallock Dr. to US 101
- Kimball Rd. on-ramp
- Peck Rd off-ramp
Closures may start and end later. All closures are weather permitting and subject to change. No two consecutive on and off-ramps will be closed at the same time.
Motorists should expect delays and are strongly advised to use alternate routes or avoid the area. Additionally, motorists can check traffic conditions before they leave by visiting the Caltrans Quickmap.
