A candidate forum for eleven District 3, 4 & 6 City Council candidates was presented by the Oxnard Inter-Neighborhood Council (INCO), via a remote “Zoom” format on September 30, 2020. These are the only Council districts up for vote this year.Also see our articles on INCO Mayoral, Treasurer, City Clerk and 5th District County Supervisor forums.
The event took place in the context of the COVID-19 government lockdown-induced recession, BLM protest movement, chronic city structural deficits, ballooning spending, , housing and homeless crises and a host of revolutionary ballot measures, including dramatic tax increases, restructuring of the Treasurer’s office, permitting process.
