Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release
On March 1, 2019 at approximately 12:45am, an Oxnard Patrol Officer contacted Jesus Rangel asleep in his vehicle, in the 500 block of south Victoria Avenue. During the investigation, Rangel was found to be on probation, under the influence of a narcotic and in possession of a small quantity of heroin.
Officers conducted a probation search of Rangel’s vehicle and located a loaded .44 caliber revolver along with an extra 30 rounds of hollow point ammunition. Rangel was found to be prohibited from possessing firearms. Rangel was arrested for various firearm and narcotic related offenses.
