Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release
On November 13, 2020, at approximately 5:30PM, an officer from the Oxnard Police Department attempted to contact multiple subjects in the alley of Terrace Avenue. All subjects fled from the officer. As the officer pursued one of the subjects later identified as Alejandro Garcia, a 22-year-old Oxnard resident, Garcia discarded a firearm. This firearm, a loaded unregistered revolver, was recovered and Garcia was detained. He was arrested for firearm violations and resisting an officer.
