Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release
On May 27, 2020, patrol officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the 400 block of West Yucca Street regarding alleged sexual abuse to three children. The Oxnard Police Department’s Family Protection Unit was notified and took over the investigation. The investigators interviewed the children who reported they were molested by their stepfather, Nick Langkilde between 2015 to May 2020.
On May 29, 2020, at about 12:45 P.M., the Oxnard Police Department’s Special Enforcement Unit arrested Mr. Langkilde at McDonald’s located at 4860 Santa Rosa Road in the City of Camarillo. Mr. Langkilde was taken into custody without incident for three counts of violation of California Penal Code section 288.5(a), Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. Mr. Langkilde was booked into the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility on a bail amount of $5,000,000.
