It’s not unheard of for political candidates to try to prove to voters that they’re “just like us,” but some of the Democratic presidential candidates are going a little overboard with their efforts.
When presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke isn’t posting strange videos online, he’s causing a scene at coffee shops. Apparently no counter top in this country is safe from O’Rourke’s dirty shoes.
I know I’m not alone when I say I think we all could have done without hearing and seeing all this.

“America Uncensored” is a Daily Caller program dedicated to political stories dominating the news cycle. TheDC’s Stephanie Hamill is a straight shooter who isn’t afraid to tell you what she thinks.
The media’s focus on the Donald J. Trump administration often centers around the White House and the President of the United States. But across the federal government, his America First policies continue to play out with little notice from the press and significant benefits to the American people.
David Bernhardt, acting secretary of the Department of the Interior (DOI), signed a secretarial order last week that directs the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to make public access to federal land for fishing, hunting, and other recreational activities a priority when considering the fate of millions of acres of land in the United States under the control of the federal government.
And that represents vast swaths of the country, according to the U.S. Geological Survey:
The Federal Government owns nearly 650 million acres of land – almost 30 percent of the land area of the United States. Federally-owned and managed public lands include National Parks, National Forests, and National Wildlife Refuges. These are lands that are held for all Americans. The Federal agencies responsible for managing America’s natural resources must meet both the public desire to protect them and the public expectation of economic growth based on them.
On Saturday, March 23, 2019 Democrats in Congress are on an “emergency caucus conference call” to sort through a response to the Mueller Report. (Can you say Impeachment!?! The Democrats are!)
Recently I have made an argument which some excellent, smart, capable people have scoffed at. It is this:
The recent wrangling in the Democrat-controlled Congress over whether to censure one of their own, Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar D-MN, and the controversial but ultimately successful vote to overturn President Trump’s border security National Emergency Executive order (the President vetoed to override Congress and is proceeding) are merely “investigative tools”. What do I mean by this?
The Totalitarians (I call them Toadies) are using these tools to figure out who they can “pick off” in the House and in the Senate. The Democrat leadership plans to use the Democrat-controlled House to impeach President Trump. But they will do so ONLY when sure they have enough votes in the Democrat-controlled House to impeach AND have enough votes in the Senate to CONVICT!
The Toady-Democrats cannot afford to make a mistake. A mistake would make President Trump a martyr and ensure his reelection. So, the Toadies are using incendiary actions (threats of censure) and divisive issues (building a wall) to test who in Congress feels vulnerable, unsure, or insecure. Armed with this ‘data’, the Toady-Democrats will decide the all-important timing for a successful impeachment!
Remember, impeachment is a POLITICAL process. It is NOT a criminal process. If successful, President Trump has ONLY ONE appeal opportunity. It is… We The People!
President Trump’s choice is NOT found in our Constitution. It predates it.
President Trump would have to revisit our Declaration of Independence…. Are YOU ready?!
“WHEN in the Course of human Events it becomes necessary for one People to dissolve the Political Bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the Powers of the Earth the separate & equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the Separation.” —July 4, 2019

Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On March 23rd at 9:05 AM, the Ventura Police Department’s Command Center received a call of a carjacking that just occurred at the Chevron gas station in the 2500 block of E. Main St. The caller was the gas station clerk, who was calling for the victim.
Officers responded and contacted the 42-year-old male victim. He told officers he was allowing an acquaintance drive his vehicle, when they got into an argument. The acquaintance drove into the alley to the rear of the gas station, and threatened to get a weapon to harm the victim if he did not get out of the vehicle. Fearing for his safety, the victim got out of the vehicle. The acquaintance, later identified as Jeffrey Gonzalez, and a female passenger fled in the vehicle.
Approximately 2 hours later, officers were on a foot patrol in the area of Chestnut St. and Thompson Blvd., when they observed the stolen vehicle parked in a parking lot. The officers checked the vehicle and found Gonzalez sleeping inside. Gonzalez was detained and arrested without incident for carjacking.
The victim was not injured during this incident and his vehicle was returned.
A review of the Ventura County Superior Court website shows that Gonzalez has a prior conviction in 2016 for possession of drug paraphernalia.

A statement on the agency’s website reportedly translated read:
The area’s vegetation has been damaged greatly by heavy foot traffic, combined with thawing weather conditions. Iceland has seen an unusually warm winter this year with higher incidents of rainfall which has turned the pathways into mudfields. To avoid the muddy paths, visitors have been walking on the grass and heath vegetation alongside the trails which are extremely fragile during early spring, especially in March and April when the ground has not yet fully thawed.
The concern is that the giant uptick in foot traffic is “wreaking havoc” on the area’s “fragile vegetation.” Originally the canyon was only supposed to remain off-limits to visitors for two weeks,” per Fox News on Friday. Those plans have since changed and now the place will remain closed until June 1. This is the second time in the last few years the canyon has been closed.
The area is thought to have first been formed about 9,000 years ago, the end of the first Ice Age.
