On July 21, 2023 at approximately 2:00 PM, investigators from the Port Hueneme Police Department, in collaboration with investigators from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office West County Special Enforcement Team executed a search warrant regarding narcotic sales and weapons violations at 2575 Spinnaker Avenue in Port Hueneme.
During the service of the warrant, investigators located and seized the following items:
Approximately two thousand Farmapram pills (a version of Xanax manufactured and sold in Mexico), believed to have been illegally smuggled from Mexico; approximately one thousand five-hundred counterfeit oxycodone pills suspected to contain fentanyl; over $4,000 in U.S. currency and a loaded, unregistered 9 mm handgun.
A 16-year-old male juvenile from Port Hueneme was arrested in connection with the narcotic sales as well as for the possession of the illegal handgun.
The juvenile was lodged in Ventura County Juvenile Hall pending further court proceedings.
The estimated street value of the dugs is approximately $60,000.00.
