President exonerated: “Time to Move On”

    By Michael Hernandez

The President has been acquitted and exonerated on Wednesday by a majority partisan vote in the U.S. Senate and it is now “time to move on.”  The actual vote on Articles of Impeachment was 52-48 Not Guilty on Article 1:  Abuse of Power and 53-47 Not Guilty on Article 2:  Obstruction of Congress.  Senator Mitt Romney (Ut-R) was the only one to split his vote. His claim for “moral reasons” seems hard to substantiate.

Election 2020 is coming in 270 days and “We the People” will decide whom we want as President and whom we want to represent us, in Congress.  The actions of Congressional Democrats to remove Donald J. Trump even before he assumed office as the 45th President will not be forgotten by voters—especially those who are called “Deplorables.”

It is ironic that President Trump has had to face “sham” impeachment allegations without due process or fairness in the U.S. House during the greatest economic boom in generations benefiting minorities (African-Americans and Hispanic Americans), the middle class, and blue-collar Americans.

Voters like him, because the President supports working families and is willing to protect freedoms that Americans value such as “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

This impeachment as well as the “bullying” and “harassment” is driven forward by the main-stream media; Democrats; and Never-Trumpers because they know there is no candidate who can knock him out; and that the President will win the 2020 Presidential General Election.

The impeachment trial which pushed forward these last nine months (with the focus on Ukraine); follows more than two years of the Robert Mueller investigation (focused on Russia); which comes on the heels of the Hillary Clinton paid-for Christopher Steele dossier; as well as abuses by James Comey and the Federal Bureau of Investigation; and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) courts.

After millions of dollars, thousands of documents, hundreds of witnesses—it is time to investigate the real collusion and abuse of power by Democrats against this President.  Democrats have shown themselves to be more than “sore losers” but to be willing to destroy American institutions and see Americans fail; rather than acknowledge the successes of this President.

It is evil and wrong when a political party elevates policy and personality disputes  into impeachment proceedings.  When this happens—Americans lose.   When Americans lose—they will remember when they cast their votes in November!
